QUESTIONS

  • I have to do a 50-50 split of net equity; $412000 (appraisal value)-$380214.57 (mortgage)=$31785.43/2=$15892.72 due to ex. I am doing a Refi, but as a veteran I can only borrow up to $417,000 at 90% LTV which then means there is no equity to disburse but I was told that is my problem and I still owe. Now can I deduct broker's commission from equity even though there is no sale? Or is there anything else I can deduct? Because I don't have over $15,000 to buy him out. I did invest over $22000 of my own money for home improvements, does this count for anything? What are my options at this point?
  • Just recently got married ,moved out of my rental because the wife has a lease on an apt until april 2016 the apt we live in has a washroom adjoined to it ,the plumbing has leaked twice into the bathroom and bedroom ruining the carpet and some personal belongings. this has happened twice. I complained directly to the property management and her response is "i am not authorized to notify or request repairs because I am not on the lease" my question is in Arizona can management companies ignore safety and health complaints due to a spouse not being on the lease.

When out landlords insurance adjustor came to see the damage he informed us that the landlord was required to test the mold to find out if it was toxic. When we asked our landlord about testing he said he didn't have to test it just clean it up. Which is true? We would like them to test it so we know what we have been living in.

  • My son had a girlfriend that is having a baby any day. The girlfriend has been with us and under our care untill recently. She has grown up in a unstable and unsafe and abusive living environment. The mother who has custody recently came back into her life with her boyfriend that use to molest the girl I'm speaking of. The girl was living with her great grandma and they moved onto the property and she feels unsafe there and they made her go back . When she had her baby can she and my son sign a pepper giving me legal custody of the baby untill they are 18 . Please help asap. Thank you.
