If amenities are included in our rent but they shut down every single one of them due to the COVID 19 (2 pools, business center, exercise room, tennis court, all BBQ patios), should we still be charged for this? It is an extra $50.00 on our monthly statement.

I paid a full deposit on a particular apartment to rent.I was told it would be ready within a specific time frame. now the manager said the apartment is not ready to rent and I have no where to go. Are they liable?

My neighbors water heater recently needed to be replaced. The property manager was notified but the building maintenance man was out sick. It took over a week to replace the unit and complete repairs. During the time of the unit being damaged, and up to it's replacement, the cost of electricity used to power it went through the roof. Mt neighbor's electric bill overages during the two month period of the unit failing to work properly and then breaking down beyond repair, totalled $415.66. Is it the landlord's responsibility to reimburse the tenant for the cost of the electrical overages?

I had to leave a rental property because of an order of protection. The problem is that I had already paid in full the hole lease in advance. The law states that he is supposed to refund my money in case of a domestic violence issue. I have not received any money from him or the return of my security deposit either and he is refusing to pay me. What do I do to get my money he owes me back?

I was fired for my FMLA being denied. However my fmla should not have been denied, the 3rd party company my copany used to verify the information contacted the wrong hospital that my wife stayed at even tho I supplied them the name and the names of the 2 doctors that treated my wife. Since FMLA was denied that put me in violation of the attendance policy so I was fired. Do I have any recourse to file a claim,

I am 33 i have a daughter that is 5 and me and her mother waz never married.we are no longer together.now she wont let me see my daughter.i was and still am a good father.iv given her money all along.now she is married and wont let me see her.i miss her so much.i work a full week.every week.i need to see her.what can i do ,i go payday to payday.i need help.i dont want to lose my daughter

My sister in law is pregnant and not married. She does not wish to be with the babies father and will be doing a paternity test when the baby is born. If the test comes back that he is the parent, does she have to make the babies last name the same as his in order to get child support? If he signs his parental rights away, does he still have to pay child support?
