I was in the hospital and didn't have my insurance information. I called the number given to me by the hospital when I was discharged. The hospital billed my insurance but didn't pass on my insurance to their physicians that saw me or x ray dept. I didn't know this until I was sent to collections over a year later. The insurance denied it due to timely filing laws. Can someone help me to settle/negotiate this debt? The collection agency is not working with me.

In all reality it didn't get sent in at all, in the required time frame deadline so now my birth certificate reads (not named) and my last name with all of the other info re: my birth (parents names, etc) How do I get my first & middle name added to my birth certificate? I need to have this done for the new Real ID & so I can switch things over to a new state. ( driver lic, etc) can this be done from out of state & how much would it cost? Thanks

My widowed mother disinherited my sister who is my only sibling. Her will states that she has 2 children and my sister and I are named. She states that "I am making no distribution to (sister's name inserted) in this will." I am the executor and I am the sole inheritor of her entire estate. Am I required to notify my sister of our mother's' passing? Am I required to post a notice in the local paper here or, if public notice is required and I post it online? Where? The sister is in Florida. My mother and I live in Arizona.
