  • On 3/18/2014 we had a kitchen fire with major damage to the stove, micro hood, wall cabinets, countertop and smoke damage to the dining area. The completion of the project was delayed by the owner and the property management company. The owner took 3 weeks just to select a top color and then chose the existing one. The project was completed on 7/04/2014. All this time we were without the use of a stove, wall cabinets and vent hood. A demand letter for rent adjustment was denied and the rent was raised.   • I am divorced and I have sole custody of our 12 yr old daughter. Her father had moved out of state for 4 years. He never made effort to see he. We had a parenting plan that reglected the long distance. r. In Aug 2014 he moved back to Az. So we started a visitation schedule of every other weekend and option of Wednesday overnights. My daughter was happy at first. But over the past 1 1/2 year she doesn't want to visit as much. He's very angry, and he is verbally and emotionally abusive. I need advice. How can I protect her and reduce his visits?

  • I purchased a farm using two different private loans(no banks). One loan was on a promissory note. Animals were used as the collateral on the note. Having defaulted on the note, I have turned over all the animals to the party owed. Is there an Arizona law or case that establishes the turnover of collateral as discharge of the note?   • Summary: My landlord sent me a notice to vacate from the residence using a text message. Is a text message a legally binding notice to vacate? Full: I have been a tenant for 4 years at the residence. My lease expired July 13, 2018. We did not renew the lease this year, so I've been paying month-to-month. I got a new out of state job and scheduled the movers for July 13. She suddenly sent me a text message on May 30 to vacate by July 1. She did not give me notice that she was looking for a new tenant. I have never been late or delinquent on rent payment. What are my legal options?
