  • my mom lives with her boyfriend in a house he own through his tust she recently died & boyfriend went to jail now the the boyfriends brother is saying the trust is selling the house & I had less than a week to get my mom & my stuff out shouldn't I have 30 days to get her stuff out or what can I do he threw away the stuff I left in the driveway before I was able to get it which was very sentimental to me I don't feel it's right I don't know how to go about this please help

  • I live in apartments and the management is trying to back charge us an increased city tax rate of 2.9% for the past month and going forward. The termination fee is four months of rent and I am able to pay two (half) of the overall fee. My landlords said if she won't pay her part, it will be sent to collections and they will also require me to pay the remaining balance if she doesn't.

  • My tenant who rents the back bedroom in my 2 bedroom mobile home has given me verbal notice of her intent to no longer honor our oral month to month rental agreement by ceasing to pay rent as of the 1st of the month; but when asked of her intended date to vacate the property she tells me I have to evict her with due process...even though she initiated the termination of our agreement and I accepted her termination. My main query here being...since she verbally informed me of her intent to cease paying rent and to vacate the property and I accepted her termination...do I have to evict her too?
  • My home was sold at a foreclosure auction on 11/22/16. I have never been served a 3 day notice by the new owners just a Summons and Complaint. They want me out of the property and want to charge me an outstanding amount of money and I cannot afford to pay it. They are trying to get a default and judgment against me and I am living in the house with my 8 year old granddaughter. I work 4 days a week and need time to secure another place for us to live. These people are very unreasonable and want me out. I have lived there for 23 years and am having alot of anxiety over this. HELP
