I have been moved in my apt since 3/26/2020 and I haven't received my mailbox key as of today. I've been inquiring about it. My mailbox needs repairs to get a key and get my nail. My mail is being returned to sending because the office lady won't allow my mail to be left with the office people. So I'm not able to get my mail. They had maintenance fix mailboxes few weeks back but they never got to my and the office lady was unable to give me another date when maintenance plans on fixing mine. Am I obligated to pay rent since my mailbox is broken so I'm unable to receive any mail.

My ex wife is late on rent. The attorney fee is $450.00 , is this considered "reasonable"? My understanding is she is being charged for the filing and un-filing with the court for an eviction. Additionally, she was not able to pay her rent and late fees at one point because the website they require her to pay through didn't have the updated information... The website listed a total amount due, but wouldn't accept the payment. This caused her to be several more days late while the office figured out the issue. This increased late fees and attorney fees. Is this acceptable? Or reasonable?

My landlord told me they intend to sell the property I am renting because they cannot afford necessary repairs. I still have several months on my lease. All they have said is "lease agreements are broken all the time." Can they terminate my lease this early on? What are my rights in this case?

I am currently in the Military, expecting to get out in October, and moving from Washington (where I am currently stationed) to my home state (Arizona). Can I file for custody as soon as I am back in Arizona considering I am from there and it is still considered my home? Or do I have to file in Washington where he and I are currently stationed?

I am being evicted for complaining. I was served papers at 5:30 on Friday the 12th. I went to the courthouse Monday morning and filed an answer. There was not a judge at the time, the court clerk told me to sign the papers and she would get it taken care of. I also filed a counterclaim. I had to appear in court on the 18th. I appeared in court and asked the judge for a couple days extension so I could have ample time get legal council...he refused. He would not allow me to enter any evidence, pictures, letters, etc. I have 5 days to move....I signed a lease! Can you help me understand

Can my landlord unreasonably deny consent to assign my lease? The lease states it is not allowed without consent but does not state whether landlord can unreasonably deny.

I received my electric bill this month and it was nearly 9 times what I usually pay. I think it was because of the water heater in my apartment. It was malfunctioning and wasn't heating the water correctly for about 2 days, and then it was fixed by the apartment maintenance. I've talked to the landlords at my apartment complex and it seems like they are not going to help me in any way with my electric bill. If it was the water heater, is it fair that I have to pay the electric bill for their water heater malfunctioning and sucking up electricity for 2 days?

I have requested for the last 3 months to be removed from the lease of an mobile park space lease. My roommate who is primary has agreed. I have npt signed to renew and placed 30 day notice prior to renewal. The management is refusing to remove me from the lease and says they do not need my signature to keep me on it indefinitely. I would like to know what I have to do to leave the lease immediately. I am sending a certified mail to inform them to remove me from lease and my intention to leave.
