QUESTIONS

  • We are preparing to sign a lease. The home was marketed as having a 'large fenced yard for kids and pets." Upon inspection, this 'fenced yard' has one full side of a metal fence completely fallen over, with metal sticking up, posing a safety hazard and not "fenced" for our dogs to be able to safely access the yard. The property mgmt. company said that they're aware of this, but the owner wants to focus on working on the house and not fence at this time. She said we can do something temporary (at our own expense) in the meantime, and possibly discuss this again in the future. Is this legal?

  • I worked here for a short time,they paid my rent. was let go mid month, end of month received eviction letter stating I owed half month plus up coming month. this after I contacted their boss. Paper received cert.mail , is not signed nor does it have dates or amounts on it. Is this all legal? or is this a case of Retaliation? I am a Veteran awaiting my Disability,i only work 16-18hrs a week at Walmart, not nearly enough to pay asap and they know this..   • I have been renting from a management group for 3 years. The past year and a half getting them to fix things takes weeks sometimes months. I had my glass of my patio door fall halfway out 3x. I had water leaks where it took weeks to get there and they didn't clean up water and now I have mold. They took off my lock off patio and never put on. Safety latch for pool was taken off. I have kids. My pool took a month and a half to get fixed was green where you can't see bottom. I have documentation and emails and photos. I finally had enough gave notice to move. They said no. What can I do?

  • We found we have a lien on our property from12/22/06 and it should have been removed but it wasn't and now the company is out of business so how do we go about removing it never went to court on it it supposedly for a bond to release my son from jail on 12/22/06 recorded 01/05/2007 bt we find no court record that my son was in jail those days I have already checked all his criminal records and neither me or my wife remember this transaction
