I have been living in the residence of my 8 year old daughters father's home for the past 2.5 years. During our child custody proceeding I voluntarily decided to pay 700 for child support. When I moved back into the residence we verbally came to an agreement that instead of having the child support reduced, that would be my portion of the rent. I have decided to file motion for joint custody of my child and the father is threatening to evict me. Since there was no lease agreement drawn up an only a verbal agreement in regards to the child support paid as rent can I be evicted? Can I appeal?

I was served my notices and went to court with my landlord. She got a judgement against me for unpaid rent and was granted a writ of restitution to be received on 9-1-09. On the morning of 9-1-09 when I returned to the property to finish moving, she had locked the gates. My dogs were still there and I had not been served the writ by the constable. Turns out that she did not received the writ until 10:18 that morning but the gates were locked at 8:48 a.m. Does the writ have to be served or is it just given to the landlord and they can do as they please?

My ex husband is refusing to pay the court ordered child support on the dates that were specified. He stated that he had "talked" to a lawyer and was told that he would not be late until 30 days had past since the last payment. Is this correct?

If the water heater in the condo unit I rent has been faulty & running 24/7 causing the electric bill to be MUCH greater than it *should* be (once it was finally checked out & dealt with the hourly charges dropped by 80-90%) how should I proceed re:bills? $200-$300 for 900sqft 2bd1bth before but *now* once fixed it's ~$80. I began asking the owner in late June/July to have someone check this out as it was not accurate (he insisted the electric be in his name--leaving me unable to speak to/arrange anything without going through him), but he dragged his feet for months until now here we are.

I moved in with my girlfriend and her sister back in March 2017, I am not on the lease but I have been paying half of the bills since I got here. Her sister is now saying I need to leave or she will call the police. My girlfriend is the primary lease holder and said it's fine for me to stay. What are my rights?

Ex & I have a child. First 1.5yr of her life he was MIA, always drunk/selling drugs. 2016 I got married. Custody court ended up being 1 mo after ex got locked up. We moved to Texas & ex wasn't sticking to court even though we sent money for phones/letters he would go almost a year at a time w/out contact. We got a lawyer and filed for Termination so my husband can adopt her. 2 year of fighting with AZ prisons/courts and now he's deported to Mexico. We are moving back to Az. What options do we have to get my husband any type of legal rights/adoptions.
