We were invited to come and live in my niece and nephews Casita. We made plans for over 3 years. It was agreed we would come and work and save 35,000.00 and then buy a home. It was agreed that I would help clean their home and cook dinner. Shortly after we arrived my nieces husband started acting very strange. He decided he wanted us out after we left everything behind to start a new life. He is pressuring my niece to get us out. She says we can continue to stay until we get our house. Can he override what we all have agreed on?

In 2001 I co-signed with my daughter to purchase a single-wide mobile home. She lived in the mobile home for 13yrs. It's financed with XXXX located in Tennessee, and there's still a balance of $16,000. My daughter had to move out due to her family increasing and the need for more room. I'm a retired senior citizen and do not have the money to pay for it. What can I do to keep it from being on my credit report?

My ex-girlfriend that lives in Colorado is claiming that I am the father of her 4yr old and asking for money. If he is mine want to give her money for the child but I also want to be able to see him. He was born in Texas and my name is not on the birth certificate. Can I file for a paternity test here in Arizona where I live? Or do I have to file for one in Colorado where the baby and mother live? Or do I have to file for the paternity test in Texas where the child was born?

I had an unwritten deal with someone and he basically conned me out of $800. I sued him in Pima County small claims court. The court required that i name his spouse as a defendant as well. When the court date came, he had fled town and left his wife to deny everything in court for him. It turns out though he is not legally married to this woman, and that was made clear to the judge. Still, the judge dismissed my case with prejudice even though she was not his legal spouse and now i am out $800+. I even had a witness but he was late so unfortunately didn't get sworn in. What recourse do i have?

My ex- fiancée and I have joint custody(decision making). Last year March17, 2014, she was arrested for domestic violence( class 6 undesignated felony), ( discharging a firearm at her boyfriend),and received supervised probation, 3 yrs. In June of 2015, she was once again arrested for violation of probation and placed on IPS and extensive probation till 2017. Because Mother is violent and has potential to cause emotional and physical distress to my 5 yr. old daughter, do I have legal right as her father to file for sole custody and decision maker? Currently we have equal parenting time.
