  • i own my mobile home rent the space my home was vandalized does the park owner carry any responsibility
  • 3/31 Lease on rental home ended. 3/18 Move-out inspection done with owner. No finding except 3 bulbs needed. Owner stated he would mail check next week. 3/20 Rec'd signed inspection list for 3 bulbs. 3/20 Utilities shut off. 3/22 Rec'd email from owner stating I was obligated to keep utilities on until 3/31. And that he was going to do work on the house. He suggested I give him an amount to deduct for utilities till 3/31. And if not I can refute deductions upon receipt of deposit. Need direction in the event I pursue legal action.
  • I moved into my apartment 20 days ago and on the day of move in 2/8/20 I had my walk through with the landlord. That day I raised many concerns but my main concern was the horrific smell of smoke in the back bedroom and bathroom. The smell is so horrible as if the tenant before just sat in closed in the room and smoked. The landlord stated on the day of move in that the apt just needed to be aired out. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, I am asthmatic and have had to use my inhaler and nebulizer EVERYDAY since moving in. Is my landlord responsible for removing the smoke smell from the apart?
  • Our landlord informed us this morning that her realtor lost his license and asked that my husband put in writing that we'll move out asap. She seems a little off and the whole process to get into this home was janky to begin with, it wasn't done properly to say the least. But my question is does she have the right to kick us out before our lease is up? We're never late on rent and we have had 0 issues. Now we're forced into this mess because of the ''family friend'' she had hired as her realtor... is any of this legal?
  • i would like to know if these siuations would be considered a form of child abuse. I consider them, but not sure if my view is correct. First to lock a child in there bedroom from 7 pm to 7 am note child is 4 yrs old. and has child is potty trained but must pee in room or in there pants to relieve themselves. I find this terribly wrong. next recently a crack pipe was found in bedroom of child the child has been known to freely walk to neibors where she possibly found pipe, i feel child should not be left alone long enough to walk to neibors house search around and return parent not aware ther
  • Landlord did not make mortgage payments. Bank is repossessing. Landlord gave me 30 days to get out, is this legal? There are no other rentals available in town at this time.
