QUESTIONS

  • I live in an apartment building and I do not have a lease at this time my lease was up and I just never renewed it the building is now owned with a new landlord and I am no longer comftroble living her my rent is do no latter then the 3 rd of feb if I want to move out befor the rent is due do I need to give a 30 day notice or pay rent for February?
  • Where can I search to find out if the prosecutor subpoenaed witnesses for an upcoming trial? Can I get a copy of the subpoena request? If so, where would I go to get a copy?
  • I hired a moving company to move my stuff from WI to AZ (company is based in IL.) Upon reviewing the contract I discovered bad math, but I had already signed. When my stuff got here, I had to pay the remaining $650 in cash to the driver or he would return my items to IL and be charge for them holding my items. I was then pressured to place a $0 in the what is due. However, my issue is that they had overcharged me. The driver would not deal with any of those issues and I had to pay him. If I file a claim do I have a chance to be granted my overpayment, or am I SOL due to the $0 on balance due.

  • I worked here for a short time,they paid my rent. was let go mid month, end of month received eviction letter stating I owed half month plus up coming month. this after I contacted their boss. Paper received cert.mail , is not signed nor does it have dates or amounts on it. Is this all legal? or is this a case of Retaliation? I am a Veteran awaiting my Disability,i only work 16-18hrs a week at Walmart, not nearly enough to pay asap and they know this.. They allowed my neighbor, 4 months behind, to make payments with no late fee's.. I not being allowed this or any other options..PLEASE HELP
