QUESTIONS

  • My late husband suffered from Alzheimer's Disease when he borrowed money and signed documents that deeded his home to another person. That person refuses to return title of the home to my late husband's estate even though the loan was paid off in full. What are my rights?
  • My mother recently passed away and her will states that everything is to be divided among my 2 sisters and I. She has a house with a loan on it, a vehicle that is paid for(that my oldest sister now has), property that my other sister and her husband say is now theirs and I have only small things. The house is to go to the three of us but I can't get any info from my older sisters about it. And now my nephew and his girlfriend and son are living in the house and paying my older sister. What can I do ??
  • My former landlord has not filed a satisfaction of judgment for a matter that was completed 2 yrs ago. She has not responded to my attempts and I can't get an answer as to what I need to file.
  • How do I go about giving guardianship or power of attorney of my son to my sister and brother in law
  • I was charged with a DUI in Pima county. I went before the judge and was told that the case had been dismissed because prosecution was waiting on lab results. The judge told me that the county had 6 months to refile. Is this true?
  • How much can a mobile home park charge for a pet deposit?
  • We are senior citizens. A bank is offering us a home loan that we assumed was fixed interest-the rate dropped a fraction, even-then I happened to notice an unfamiliar phrase with a tiny checked box-'demand feature'. I looked it up: the bank can demand payment, calling the loan, at any time without giving a reason. It said that some states prohibit that practice. Is Arizona one? Calling the loan could destroy us and force the property into foreclosure.
  • Can my employer withhold my final paycheck if I caused accidental damage on the job?
  • Can my landlord decide to require payment online through a 3rd party that was not available at the time the lease was signed? Can I refuse to provide my personal bank information to said 3rd party?
  • I leased my home to partners with a small child 6 months ago. One partner left as the other brought drugs & wild parties to the home (as the neighbors attest). I would like to evict the remaining partner. What form shall I use?
