I rent a single-family dwelling & my lease states that the landlord is responsible for all Landscaping in the front & back of the house. Does this mean that she is responsible for the payment of the water for the sprinkler drip system? Currently the only water meter is on my water account that I pay for. Is it legal for her to dictate how much water is used for the bushes and trees outside the house? She does not allow me to adjust the sprinkler system at all & she has her gardener increase the water for her orange tree without my knowledge or consent. Again, the water meter is under my name

My husband filed for divorce. My question is since the house is in his "mother's" name, which is what I am being told, when the divorce is final can they just kick me out? I have paid the utilities and upkeep for 4 years now. My husband lives on one side of house and I on the other side right now.

I live in an apartment complex near NAU. My roommate and I have lived here for about three months now and we have a dog (only 15 lbs), which is allowed by the apartment complex (up to 40 lbs). We found a stray kitten a few weeks back (only 6 lbs), and we would like to keep her. The lease that we signed says NOTHING about being limited to only one animal in the apartment, however they are telling us that that is what their policy is, even though there was no written agreement to that. Should I be able to get another pet in the apartment?

I am noticably disabled and live in a crime free.multi housing complex. There are several tenants who have either used a sharpie to change the expiration on their placards, have expired placards, or who simply park in the few disabled spots available. I have made the manager aware of these continual incidents, and was told that if they had any kind of placard or plate;(regardless of it's status), that the apartment management had no recourse. Is this accurate? If not, what can I do to see that this ADA accomadation is enforced properly?
