QUESTIONS

  • Someone broke my window with a baseball from the outside. The landlord is charging me the cost incurred to fix the window. Is this my responsibility?
  • My teenage daughter and I were both arrest for domestic violence and both of us were prosecuted. Same case yet we were both identified as defendants which very effectively eliminated any accountability especially by the courts to address "Victim's Rights" at all. The words "dominate aggressor" does not exist , at least not in the statues in AZ. So my question is: How do the courts justify this? Is this ethical? Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase
  • Today is Saturday we have no power or running water land lord doesnt know how long it will take to fix do they have to furnish us a place to stay until it is fixed?

  • I got a equity loan for 30,000 on may 2007. On march 2009 got laid off my home was in foreclosure status. I became disabaled and filed in 2010. During which time my account was given to a lawfirm for collection. Well in 2011 I received my disability and soon after received a new agreement on my home from chase bank to refinance which we did. After this the lawfirm kept at me about owing on this account and they garnished my wifes checks and now shes not able to work their taking us to court come to find out this is my mortgage acct. and me and chase agreed on a new contract back in 2011.

Now, due to being laid off, a judgement has been entered and they will begin garnishing my wages. However, they also included my now ex-husband in the judgement and are going to garnish his wages. How can they do this if the loan was in my name only?
