  • Last night the maintenance manger at my complex threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I haven't been officially evicted yet, but he assumed I was since my family removed my belongings. Did he violate my rights under the "self help" measure?
  • I was informed of trustee sale to take place 06/2008 on my home in Florence, AZ. My Husband and I decided it was best to vacate the home with our family before the sale. We filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 2011 and included the home and HOA. We received a letter from an attorney, suing us for HOA dues, post bankruptcy. Wouldn't it already be considered foreclosed from the notified date of sale, even if it was postponed?
  • Our house has been with a broken AC for 3 weeks. We have had to wait for a repair, another repair, a second opinion, another attempted repair, etc. Today we were supposed to have someone come to our house and give us a new unit but when I asked my landlord where they were she said since our house was at 82 degrees we got pushed for people with hotter houses. Our house is cool because we had to rent a mobile AC unit. Our electric bill is twice as much due to a 30 year old AC. What right do we have and should our landlord pay for some of our electric bill?
