  • My mom was born in Mexico, and she needs a new birth certificate. Where can we obtain one in Phoenix, AZ?
  • I got arrested for criminal damage. Girlfriend lived with me at the house I own. She is not on any paperwork on my house. She has an order of protection against me so I can not go to my house. I need to get her out. Went to judicial court to get an eviction started. They said I cannot do an eviction until I give her a written notice first. I cannot have any form of contact with her. I'm not sure what I can do. Per our verbal agreement she was to pay rent on the 10th. She did not pay. All the bills are in my name. Can I turn the utilities off until she leaves?

  • I was unable to complete a walk through at the time my lease ended, due to my partner being hospitalized and my work schedule. We were never provided with a list of damages or costs until being contacted by collections. I did provide my forwarding address and phone number but no contact was made. I saw they are supposed to provide the documentation within 14 days. I do not believe we had a security deposit, but if we never were provided documentation in a timely manner, are we able to contest collection fees and accrued interest?
  • My landlord agreed to accept my late payment however when I notified him my air conditioner wasn't working he refused to fix and demanded I pay additional late fees if I wanted it fixed then I had a week or so to move. I haven't paid the rent due to my fear of being evicted after paying leaving me w nothing. My roof has a hole in it repaired 4 times that leaks w black mold.   • I'm not from AZ but my son is , He live with his mom and we been working things out for the pas couple years , I go visit and spend time with him ones at month, holidays , birthdays , etc. I do help with child support every month plus besides that money , when my son needs clothes or shoes you name it I always help with anything she ask for. Now I understand I live in a different State and I can't taker of him when he is going to school, buy I think summer time when not going to school I can taker of him , and she denied my request multiple times and I don't think that's fair what can I do?
