We have been divorce since Jul. 2009. We still lived in the house until Aug. 09 but I moved out due to her hostile. I decided to split our share, my 1/2 of the house (it was paid off by my father as a gift). I tried to get refinance-get the house-give her money 1/2 -and she was too BUT both of us fail to secure the loan we need. On 15 Oct. 09, I ask a realtor to sell our house so I can get my 1/2, her 1/2 but she repulsed to sign the sale auth and still live in it until now. What can I do to have her sign the sell, get my 1/2 and give her 1/2 so I move on?

We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!

In my divorce the Judge issued a Final Ruling months ago, but it seems there is no way to get a Final Decree. My ex keeps requesting delays claiming medical issues, but has provided no proof to the court of any medical issues. In the meantime I keep paying more and more temporary spousal maintenance and attorney fees. The Judge keeps approving my exs requests for more time. My attorney has filed a Final Decree with the Judge. How long can the Judge take to sign a Final Decree (months or years)? What else could my attorny do to push along my case? No one but me wants the divorce to be done

Does my landlord have a right to ask about proof of employment- even if I am paying my rent on time and in full each month? I have also paid all of the security, final month rent, and non refundable moneys when I moved in. He asked for proof of employment and bank account numbers on the application, I gave him my current which was out of state, now he is insisting on current employment and income amounts. He tells me that I am on a 6 month probation out of a 1yr lease upon proof of employment each month.
