  • I live in a mobile home park and own the trailer, not the lot, and our landlord is saying that we have thirty days to show proof of insurance otherwise we'll get evicted. My question is can she legally force us to get insured when almost all insuranfr companies wont even touch trailers?
  • I have an ongoing problem in my duplex with a black widow infestation. when we first moved in we had to kill many black widows that were in the backyard with a hammer. The next summer they returned, this time also in the garage and a bedroom closet. I notified the landlord and she provided us with store-bought insect spray for us to use ourselves. I used the spray and a few months later they have returned again. I am very concerned about being bit as well as the safety of my dogs. Since the store-bought spray didn't work doesn't it fall to the landlord to provide pest control? Esp. Safety wise

Can we enter the home?
  • My landlord sent me a 5 day pay or quit notice to my place of employment, along with a copy to my work email,I work at a large company of about 2k, mail is not given to us directly. It is opened by a mail room clerk and then distributed (if they feel it is work related) to the appropriate dept managers. My work email automatically sends acknowledgements when you open an email. So I know my landlord received this acknowledgement. My question, is can my landlord send me this 5 day notice to my place of work? Is the signature from the mail clerk acceptable in court?

My x decided not to accept what tthe city offered to settle and decide to go to trial. Can I file for full custody and have child support paid to me if she is convicted? What is the process and how long does it take? Or can I have my child support obligation remove altogether?
  • We were paying our electricity through our apartment complex. They would bill it to us each month with our rent with a 50 dollar service fee. Last month they didn't bill us for it and it wasn't in our bill, so we were waiting until they gave us the bill or it was just added on to next months payment and/or rent. They did add it on to the next months rent/bill and we usually pay the 3rd if every month which isn't late. They turned off our power without any notice AT ALL on the second. They didn't give any warning what so ever. Is that legal?!

  • I have a collection on my credit report which belongs to my husband. When contacting the collection agency, they told me that this collection will stay on my report because I am married to the person which ows them money. The account was included in our bankruptcy in 2013 as an individual debt and not a joint debt. Am I responsible for my husbands debt? It was for electrical service my husband applied for himself. Thank you
