my husband left me and my children, he is the father of our 6 yo daughter. He has been gone almost 2 months, and has not helped out financially at all. My question is, in the event of my death or incapacities, how do I grant my parents legal custody of my daughter. I am wondering if I can type a letter and have it notarized since we have not started divorce proceedings at this point in time. I just want to make sure my parents get my children in case of tragedy.

I allowed some friends to stay with me until they found a place. Instead of finding a house, they spent all the money at a casino. They have brought drugs into my home and used them. It has now been almost two months and they have not found any where to live. He has MS and I feel bad but I don't want them here anymore. How do I get them out legally?

We just rented a house was by management they were replacing the carpet. After we applied they said the owner said are replacing living room carpet and the rest which is ok but now that the has dried and the chemical smell gone is a strong scent coming from rooms. We signed lease week ago and everything with getting this house ready for move in been a battle with this management company. What are the laws about having urine soaked carpets a rental and having them replaced? There is huge health issues with having to breath in that smell. What are rights?

How does my granddaughter get an annulment? She has no income.

i have a 5 month old. the father has isnt on the birth certificate, hasnt filed for rights or establishment of paternity through the courts or anything. he rarely sees the child and when he does its only when its convenient for him. and 98% of the time, he doesnt even claim the child as his own. for example: he tells me to have the real father pay for things. i do not know his current address and was curious about something. i am currently in a relationship with someone new. if i were to marry this person, could he legally adopt the my child? what would he have to do to legally adopt my child?

I am currently unemployed and found it very difficult to find work. I'm reaching the end of my rope with all my bills being extremely late and even though I haven't received a notice yet, I'm expecting a foreclosure notice. I am a Registered Nurse and have worked continuously as a RN in the Phoenix area for 37 years. This year a requirement for proof of citizenship is required. I have my Certified birth Certificate but it is not acceptable by the State Board of Nursing because my first and middle names are reversed from what the Arizona State Board of Nursing have on file. The only documentation I received to verify the change was my social security card. I am a Medicare Benificiary and I receive Social Security Benefits. I have been researching the accepted lists for proof of citizenship and find that Arizona states if you have been accepted into the Medicare program no other proof of citizenship is required. I have been a Medicare Benificiary since I was 65, a total of 6 years. However, the Arizona State Board of Nursing lists do not include enrollment in Medicare as proof of Citizenship. What can I do to prove I am a United States Citizen?

I signed my lease when I was 17 years old and I turned 18 a month later. I signed with no co-signer and I was wondering if it is possible for me to void my lease because I initially signed when I was 17 but I'm 18 now.

One of my creditors has chosen to sue me to collect a debt. Supposedly a judgement was issued against me, but the paperwork was so confusing, I could not understand it. I do not own a home or a car and my only income is Social Security. The letter from the agency selected by the credit card company says there are various means they can use to collect. My question is, what CAN they do to me? A call to the agency got me nowhere. I am also the sole caregiver for my handicapped mother.
