Answer: Domestic abuse can take many forms.  It isn't always physical abuse. There are a number of domestic violence resources in Arizona that you may find helpful:  Arizona Coalition to end Sexual and Domestic violence (http://www.acesdv.org/) 1 800-782-6400; Arizona Crime Victims Services (http://www.acesdv.org/) 1-877-785-2020; National Domestic Violence Hotline (http://www.thehotline.org/is-this-abuse/abuse-defined/) 1-800-799-7233. Another resource is Community Legal Services at 602-258-3434. You will find an article in this website that contains a fairly comprehensive list of resources and telephone numbers that may be of help.  You will find it on this site at http://www.azlawhelp.org/articles_info.cfm?sc=4&mc=1&articleid=85.  Review the resources listed here and contact someone for help. You deserve to be safe and free from abuse. You may also want to discuss the issue with your CPS caseworker and find out what their policy is.
