After marriage do I automatically become co- ownr? If we do not get married how long will it take for me to be considered co- owner without him actually havng to add my name to the title?
  • I have been to court already about my children and was ordered not to pay child support. The father of my children filed for cash assistance and now DES says that i owe $8000 in back child support and he will be receiving $400 a month from me. is that even possible for DES to go over the final court decision?
  • I received an eviction notice on my door at 8pm, after returning home from work, on November 25th. The court date is set for Dec.1st. This gave me no time to request off from work. The only 2 business days are Friday and Monday. They sent me a 5 day notice certified mail, but the part I am supposed to sign is already removed. This has happened before. I have received this before the same way. My question is what to do about my court date when I am already scheduled to work on the 1st. Is it legal to allow 2 business days before receiving eviction papers and court date?
  • I have shared custody with ex husband (divorced 2005) with our 16 year old. He has had residential custody since 2011. He was abusive to our now 24 year old and has repeated physical and mental abuse with our 16 yr old. I can't afford legal counsel and live in a different state. What can be done from my current state of residence to obtain physical custody asap. The State Agency and police officers prior have stated that it's just discipline. What 200 lb man needs to choke, hold down on floor with knee in chest to discipline a less than 130 lb girl? Very smart. Honor roll student.
