  • I am planning on moving at the end of April. I have resided here for almost 5 years. I am worried the apt manager is going to bill me for the carpet and paint. The carpet was old when I moved in. My question is "can they bill me for carpet replacement and paint after I have been here for almost 5 years"
  • My husband has been mentally and physically abusive for the past 7 years. In January he punched me repeatedly in front of our five year son and kick the door in when I kicked him out. My oldest has told me that that he to was hurt by my husband. I've now lost my home(being evicted) and Job because of this.   • I'm not a Landlord, but a person who let a woman & her children stay with me due to domestic violence. Her children are so violent that they attack my dog & my young children. What can I do legally. No agreement was signed & no money had been paid by her.

After moving in we noticed a huge leek under the sink that was flooding onto the floor He charged us $75 for reporting the problem to him Then there was no hot water in the upstairs bathroom. Again he charged me $75. Is this legal? Isn’t it the landlords responsibility to maintain good plumbing? Do I really have to pay for him to repair someone else’s house?
  • I purchased a farm using two different private loans(no banks). One loan was on a promissory note. Animals were used as the collateral on the note. Having defaulted on the note, I have turned over all the animals to the party owed. Is there an Arizona law or case that establishes the turnover of collateral as discharge of the note?   • We are owners of a double wide in a moblie home park in Tucson.  We live out of state and for the last 5 months have received only partial payments and at this time a tenant is 4 months past due in agreed payments. We have had several issues with this problem, and feel we can no longer allow this person to occupy our property and would like to have someone tell us how we can go about serving notice for an eviction. We have read the laws of Arizona and know that a paper has to be obtained, filed, and paid for by us and then sent on to the occupant of property.  How can we start this procedure?
  • Hoping I picked the right category. In January of this year (2017) I received a 1099-C from the bank cancelation of debt from a Home Equity Line. Does the bank need to release the lien or deed that was recorded when the HEL was established? How do I know they truely forgave the debt or if there is still some backdoor for them to collect should I sell or refi the home? I only received the 1099-C nothing else. And at the Maricopa recorders office no release was recorded. What do I need to do to have them release it. Is there a time frame that the bank is required to file a release?
