  • My apartment is flooded from a leak in the roof. They had someone here earlier to try and locate the problem, but now the floor is saturated(carpet and the paint is bulging on the ceiling and the wall from water underneath. Can I move into other housing until it's repaired? They didn't even bring a fan over, and its getting wetter and wetter, I'm afraid that mold will start growing because It is very hot here, perfect for growing mold in wet plaster.

  • My sons father got summonsed to court for a paternity test for another girls child he did not receive any papers in the mail. He got served with papers yesterday and it said he is going to automatically have to pay her child support because he did not show up for the test how do we go about redoing this he is not on birth certificate and does not think the child is his . he would of showedup but was not informed untill the day of the test in court.what do we do .
  • Questions on the rights of unmarried fathers-Is it possible to get a court order for a paternity test while the mother is still pregnant (we are not married), or does AZ not recognize those tests? Is it possible to have the mother court ordered to allow me at prenatal appts and the birth of my unborn child? Lastly, do I (as an unmarried father) have any rights at all while the mother is still pregnant? I understand I can gain rights AFTER the child is born, but I would like to be involved long before that.
  • Thank you for allowing me a question....and answer. I leased a house October 2017, with a one year lease. After that it was "technically" on month-to-month. My husband and I purchased a house in Cave Creek with a VA loan closing in May 2019. To make it "easier" for my Landlord I found him a replacement tenant. She was accepted. My nightmare began.....she had the house - my purchased house fell out....the LL ignore me.......literally making me vacate the premises so the new tenant could move in. I was verbally abused - my property thrown on the driveway. I was homeless. Help?
  • We began renting a place in Feb. It was advertised as having both a swamp cooler and A/C, which is one of the reasons we chose this particular place. When they came to set-up the swamp cooler it was discovered it needs to be replaced. But now they are telling us that they will not replace it because we have A/C. Are they required to fix it?
  • We moved into a apartment in February. The ac never worked, electrical problems, landlord never fixed. Plus bug issue. We never signed a lease or contract. We just moved out beginning of May because he refused to repair items in timely manner. He also wanted late fees because I didn't deposit rent into his personal bank account. I always paid in person., But he was out of state, so I got money order and held it till he returned. He demanded late fees. Now he refused to return our deposit. He didn't do a walk through when we vacated either. What can I do. He charged us 1100 deposit.

  • I asked CitiMortgage Inc . for a loan modification at the end of 2012 because my ci-borrower was gone and I was going to get a 20% paycut two months from when I made my request. I was definitely in imminent danger of default. They said call back after I miss 3 payments and then they would help.Endless paperwork, 10 payments behind-I reinstated in full and am now current. They transferred deed to trustee and still foreclosure activity. Help
