  • I need to know if I could be fired over the phone?
  • I had a one year lease. I had a clause put in stating that. At the end of lease we had the option to extend the lease with no rent increase for 6 months if paid in advance. I excercised that right. Gave letter and check(6 months rent). They tried to make me sign a new lease for one year at a large rental increase. I refused. Now my 6 month lease is up in 2 weeks. Recieved letter stating, I owe $600.00 plus late charges for last months rent. I have a contract. They sent me eviction for nonpayment five day letter. What do I do? I have to pay rent what amount?
  • We are leasing a home with a pool. The problem is with the owner chosen pool person. We do not have a working relationship with this person and the property mgmt has told us he locked the pump timer per owners instructions. Is that legal and we do not want this person on our property any longer. What rights and alternatives do we have.

  • In May, I moved into a 12 unit complex in Scottsdale with a pool. The pool was green & the landlord told me it was being emptied, retiled, and filled & would be closed for a couple weeks. I am about to pay August's rent and the pool is still out of commission. It was emptied and two workers came one day to chip away the tiling. Nothing has been done since. What rights do I have as a tenant to start deduct rent or demanding repairs? The pool was a driving force in my renting & it's making a terrible for a terribly frustrating AZ summer. What do I tell my landlord??

  • My 25yr old daughter was with a guy she now has two kids with. He's had her arrested and put a order of protection on her for him and their daughter. She is going thru family court to get back her parenting rights. While this was going on she was pregnant with their 2nd child except he didn't know, now he knows and is requesting.a paternity test. Can he take this new baby away from her? How can she protect her new baby from him? I'm afraid he will take Jim from her and it will break her heart. She's a good mom & he's a good liar.

I was placed her threw a Domestic vilioce Shelter n everything was explained to the Manager when I was brought here. She was told that I get paid every 2 weeks and that I work at ----. So we explained to her ( Manager ) that I will not be able to pay the Rent on the First of the Mo. She agreed with that and said she will work with me on the Rent. Now the Housing program Paid the Rent up for 3 mos. Now she is Evicteing me for being late on this Mo.
