  • if I’m getting a restraining order against my roommate and she goes to get one before me on false terms because I’m getting one. Will the judge serve me with hers while i am in court trying to get mine? We have an apartment together and i think she is doing it to Get off of our lease.
  • I have been renting this house for 9 months now and within the nine months the sewage lines have backed up bringing feces up through the showers bathtub toilets sinks and in the front yard. Every time I call a send a plumber to flush the system the plumber say it is a palm tree that has been there before I moved in has busted the main sewage line. I have five children three that have asthma and I know that it is not safe for them to be in that condition. Is there anything I can do to get them to fix the main line or let me out my lease?

He was on workmans compensation at the time that they used his FMLA. Is there any recourse to get his FMLA back so he can use it for his personal accident? Why would he need to use his FMLA when he was on workmans compensation?

  • I have full custody of my three girls. Ages 5, 8 and 10. My ex/their dad is very involved. My boyfriend has a legally adopted son/nephew who Is 18 years of age and a junior in high school. Who I was going to allow to live with me. My ex is threatening attorneys and fighting for custody because I am allowing this boy to live in my home. He is a good kid with no criminal history nor any record of any trouble. If I marry his dad, he will be my stepson. Does my ex have a leg to stand on? I will not risk losing custody of my daughters.   • My landlord has yet to return my security deposit. She keeps saying "I'll do it soon" but doesn't. I don't think she has much intention of returning it soon. In her lease, it states she has 30 days to return security deposit, I was unaware that in AZ she only has 14. Since I signed her contract, do I have to wait the full 30 days or does AZ Law of 14 business days trump that?
