QUESTIONS

  • What do I need to file abandonment
  • My renter has been doing all sorts of antagonistic things towards me for about two months now - like waking me purposely very early in the morning (as early as 5 am). I've asked her to stop and she won't. Can I legally do anything about this - she is moving out but not soon enough. It is affecting my health because of sleep deprivation and stress (I have chronic fatigue).

  • Roommate's drunk cousin (eviction): I am listed on Rental Lease Agreement with a roommate. The roommate has a Guest (cousin) who is NOT on the lease staying in the living room for over a month. Roommate's Cousin helps her with expenses and rent at times. The roommate's cousin is an alcoholic, and gets drunk, becomes unruly, staggering, breaking things, etc. I would like to have the Guest Removed from the premises, evicted, when drunk particularly, or permanently. Can I have the police remove the drunk cousin of my roommate AGainst my Roommates discretion?

  • I was arrested for disorderly conduct. I was not driving nor charged with a DUI. The police told the to take a breathalyzer or go to the hospital. I was examined and then taken to jail. The hospital is now billing me for $800. Is that bill not the state's responsibility?
  • I wish to evict my 18 year old son. There has never been a lease as he has been a minor until recently. There are reasonable household rules regarding drinking, drugs, smoking, language, chores, etc. He chooses to disobey rules because he claims he can as an adult. He neither works nor pay rent nor contributes financially. How do we evict him?
