We were just informed by the landlord's property manager a week ago that the landlord is placing the house we rent up for sale but our lease will still be honored. We are into our lease now 5 months. The lease does not expire until Feb. 28,2020. We have requested from the property manager that we would like to terminate our lease and commit to a month to month status with the understanding that we as well as the landlord can provide a 30 day notice to vacate. We have found a home we wish to purchase and do not to be held to commitment now that they are selling the house. Please advise. CW

I was charged with a DUI in Pima county. I went before the judge and was told that the case had been dismissed because prosecution was waiting on lab results. The judge told me that the county had 6 months to refile. Is this true?

Have been noticing landlord by verbal and writen notice to why Tennants being over charged more then prevailing provider by 35% at 15 cents per KWH. only reason is given is previous owners had done it and they feel they are entitled by showing EPA federal tax which is charged per sub-meter yet how can this be when it's perproperty approx $7 to master meter yet they charge approximate 40 Tennants $7 each... I gave the city Mesa charge 11.7 cents residential price which they can charge yet they make ample profit from bulk rate 9.7 cents on old 1950 power grid which needs up graded. Need help

I'm a landlord, I was given $500 security deposit. I even allowed them to unload their moving truck 2 days prior to signing the lease. The night we were due to sign the lease they backed out. Do I need to give their deposit back? They used my home as a storage facility and now my home has an overwhelming cigarette smoke due to their belongings!

Have Lived at the same complex for the past 3 years. The complex has new owners for the past several months. Old management used to give me (at my request) a copy of my check with the stamp and /or signature of received. Deadline to pay the rent is the 3rd of each month. Now the new management refuses to hand me a receipt before the 4th of the month. My question is, where is the proof that I handed the check to them in time to avoid late fees? There lot of rumors among neighbors that they are trying to scare people out to renovate more units and raise the rent. What are my rights? Thank you.

I purchased an ET center from a local store. I signed a paper that said no refunds and exchanges are per their approval. I asked them to place this furniture on hold for a least a month as our home was being rebuilt from a fire. Twelve days later I called them and advised I no longer wanted the furniture and they have refused to credit my credit card due to the paper I signed. Is this legal for them to say no refunds on furniture I never got?

Im on HUD housing and the city of tucson dont aloud me to have cameras installed do two cars breaking in tires getting popped and Slash I've even had people backing in my backyard I had a few attempted break-ins and still they will not let me install cameras

I am a 21 year old college student sharing a condo with my landlords daughter. I gave my landlord notice that I would be moving out the 2nd week of May and she was ok with it. She has been taking the rent in the middle of the month every month except when we initially moved in we paid on the 1st. I am just paying my rent for April, today the 11th. But she told me if I stay in the condo past the 1st, I have to pay, because rent is from the 1st to the 1st. She stated she took it out in the middle because the utility bill doesn't come till the middle of the month. So she included them together.
