QUESTIONS

  • Hi, I am a graduate student who just completed my PhD in Neuroscience. I recently received my first ever speeding ticket in Arizona for excessive speeding. It is called a criminal speeding ticket. I have an otherwise clean driving record. The speeding ticket was issued at a moment of non focus and I was not consistently driving at the high speed. I cannot afford to hire a lawyer and am worried about a conviction. Also, I live out of state and am applying for permanent residency. Can you adivse me about pleading guilty to such a charge or help with hiring an attorney.
  • i was told that i owed money for a bad check on a car.. but i was never served court papers and the car was taken away.. what are my options?
  • I was my mother's caregiver since 2011. Mother passed in 2014, Mother left a beneficiary deed to me and brother. Brother has claimed the home and wants to evict me and my daughter.
  • our neighbors (who are very good friends) were recently evicted for not paying rent and a bug spraying charge of 76 dollars the manager is telling she will evict us if they come to visit us can she do this my mother is bedridden and we live on a very strict budget
  • We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!
  • My daughter recently lost custody of her daughter to the father. I have lived w/my daughter and granddaughter most of my granddaughter's life. Currently my daughter is on supervised visits and I, nor my granddaughter's siblings get see her but about 2 hours a month. Until my daughter has completed her court orders to receive unsupervised visits, do I or my daughter's other 3 children have any rights with my granddaughter that was given to her father?
  • I never took my son father down for child support . He was in prison for 8of the 14 years of our son life. Now I want child support. And to know if they will go back and make him pay for the back years
  • I have a park manager refusing me access to the community pool because of a late night swim when the gates were closed. No property was damaged. The only reason this is being blown out of proportion is because I had some colorful words with the "KING"(or so he thinks) neighborhood gossip. Him and management are close. They're taking action against me out of spite to make me feel inferior against them. Can I be arrested if I go swimming anyway and ignore the pool moniter? How long can she refuse an amenity I pay for? I own the home, rent the space. I don't know if that makes a difference. -Sara
  • My brother and I had a verbal agreement that he would purchase my property in which I run my business from and live and we would then do a lease option to buy back with a set price being set at time of agreement and I would be responsible for making interest only payments on the money he borrowed to pay for the property, which was fine. However he has not provided me with any type of a written agreement, it is two years later and payment is quadruple what it was suppose to be and now he is trying to evict me and sell the property, do I have any rights? I have emails stating the above.
  • We had an 80/20 mortgage on our home. In Feb it was foreclosed on. The first lender shows as a foreclosure but the 2nd lender(chase) shows as a charge off. I was told that there is something in the state of AZ that requires both lenders to report it as a foreclosure. Is there a provision code that I can contact Chase with to have the reporting changed to Foreclosure? Thank you..
