QUESTIONS

  • Please describe what the courts look at for "best Interest for the child". Do they take into account what the child(ren) want?
  • Do I need an attorney to represent me in court for visitation time with my 10 year old son?
  • I am expecting a baby 8/1/11. The father & I are not married nor are we cohabiting, but we get along. What is the basic process for establishing custody and parenting time? Are we legally required to file something through the court? If so, how? I don't care how often he comes over to see us but his work schedule is unpredictable, so a pre-scheduled parenting time arrangment might not be feasible. How formal does a parenting agreement need to be? Are there flexible options available?
  • I'm 66 and have applied for a Loan Modification (it was approved) however, the service r is asking for "Good Faith" money up front before they will finalize the Modification Agreement. This up-front money was NEVER mentioned in any of their correspondence and when I received my Modification packet this past Saturday ...in their cover letter they mention this "good faith" money....but it is NOT part of the Modification Agreement. Is this legal for them to ask for 4 months of payemnts and then start the actual modification payment 12/1/2015? They want this money AND the agreement before Tuesday the 17th ..so this is VERY URGENT for me to receive some advise ...and should I sign the agreement. I'm also searching for a Pro Bono attorney to review these documents. ###
  • I have a walmart discover card that even if i pay the minimum payment, they will tack on a late fee then add the balance and fees together to get the interest payment. My card was over the limit and I did pay that amount, yet they still added another late fee. They have charged over 200 dollars in fees. This is b/s, they get me one way or the other. Seems like double dipping to me.
  • My wife wants a divorce. Mainly to get my name and responsibility off of her. Is there a quick way to do this?
  • I am currently in the midst of a civil dispute with the co-buyer of a house I recently purchased back in April of 2015. I have been removed from the house temporarily with an order of protection which I am currently in the process of contesting. The co-buyer is demanding I remove my name from the title. I currently have an indemnity agreement that was signed by the co-buyer, but it doesnt protect me from the mortgage company, only the co-buyer. How can I force a Judicial Sale of the house so that hes forced to refinance and take my name off the mortgage? That or the house goes to the highest
  • if i was being called names at work by my boss and i quit because i could not take it any more can i still get unemployment compensation .
  • what has to go through probate court after death of a spouse when everything is in my name too
