  • is it at all possible to give a grandparent partial custody over my child. sort of putting her in the fathers position since he no longer wants to be in my childs life?
  • I just moved into a house that i am renting. I received my first gas and water bill witch were outrageous prices. After calling the water and gas company we discovered that there was a leak under the house. They discovered that the remodel was done improperly breaking on of the pipes. He fixed the issue in a matter of days. But i feel that i should not have to pay the water or gas bill. He is refusing to pay them. Is there anything I can do?
  • My father passed away in September, 2016. I am the executor of his estate and I have a lawyer representing me and the estate. His house is paid off but he has a 7,000 home equity line of credit. There is no money in the estate to pay any bills except the utilities. It is for sale and hopefully will be sold soon. I received an Act 91 notice. Can a house be foreclosed on that is in probate? There is no money to pay the home equity line of credit bill or the taxes owed till the house is sold
  • My lease ended on a Sunday. I contacted landlord on Monday to set up walk-through. I was told I needed to return the keys prior to scheduling a walk-though. I returned the keys on Tues. Now Landlord is charging me 2 days additional rent for not returning the keys. Is he allowed to do this?

  • Today I got my food stamp EBT card in the mail and called to activate it. Well, I gave them my social security number and made up my pin number like they asked me to and then it comes to the part where they tell me what my balance is. Well it said I have no current balance at this moment. I was just wondering why I don't have a balance when everyone I know that has or has had food stamps before is telling me that there should be money on there when I activate it?
  • We are being evicted, our landlord served us three papers, each of which stated a different reason for eviction, loudness, smoking, non-payment of rent etc. Do her statements have to be consistent with one another? If so, can I use her inconsistency as a defence in court?
  • I am handicapped and desperately need an assistant. I have a man 49 who is wonderful. I have had 3 strokes and a heart attack and suffer with vertigo. I need someone with me especially at night, I have help thru pima county 3 days a week 2 hrs ea day. My assistant helps in all ways and the landlord refuses to approve him because he said on the application they made him fill out for residency (he shouldn't have to do that) that he works. I don't mind if he works during the day, its nights. What are my rights? He is my assistant in case I fall or an emergency, NOT A CARETAKER. HELP PLEASE!
  • I moved in 1 month ago and put on my walk thru sheet that there was mold in the laundry room still waiting for them to fix it. They are going to put up new sheetrock. We also have noticed mold in the closet and kitchen. Can we have the mold tested on our own or do we have to have the owners/ landlord permission
  • I recently moved into a apartment on 3/9/2018, after being fully moved in by 430pm on 3/09/18. by 1230am i observed that the apt just leased to me less than 10hours ago was infested with bed bugs. i provided a written notification by email informing the management of my findings and ask for it be taken care of asap. owners refused to pay for a hotel while waiting for treatment. once treatment was finished it took another 3-4days to replaced the tile and shampoo the carpet. as of today i still have a bed bug problem.. what can i do about this. its clear the apt had this before i moved in. help!
