I was recently in a relationship with a guy who was verbally and emotionally abusive. We were living together for about 3 months and he was always yelling at me and I was getting very scared. After he held me inside our apartment and refused to let me leave I finally got out and moved out. I tried to keep things civil. He moved to out of state but he says he will come back. He calls the house I am staying at several times a day.  He breaks into my emails and talks to my friends. He threatens me and he gets very angry at times and calls me and says he will do stuff to me and he will do stuff to my friends . I was wondering what I could do. I am very stressed out and scared and I feel like it is getting worse and I need a solution. I looked up about an order of protection but Im not sure where to go and how to do it. Id like to stop him from contacting me, my family, and my friends. I feel that he may be emotionally unstable and have issues that could turn to violence. He says he is coming back to Arizona and I just want to protect myself, my family, and my friends.

I had my bank account garnished.I went to court and the garnishment was released. I'm self employed but I do get paid by a goverment agency. Can my wages be garnished? Does the collector have to go back to court to get another order?

I was evicted in Mesa the last month of my lease due to Un payed rent. This was 2017, I was young and dumb and I left as soon as I got the notice and never did anything about it. I’m trying to take care of it now and it’s not on my credit report so I can’t pay it there. I used three different sites to check rental history and only one site found my eviction. I can’t find the record anywhere. Idk if i owe? Why is it so hard to find?? Please help me I just wanna pay this and move on from my dumb mistake! My room mate did not pay rent. My apt manager and I agreed to let her out of the lease today. Nov 1st, she did not pay Nov rent and refuses to. Can I change locks? I have given her the weekend to come get her things and she has agreed to that. If she does not come to get her things can I change locks on Monday so she doesn't come and go? She has agreed 3 times now with a date to come get her things and never shows up. I have all saved texts. I just wamt to change locks and have her get her things now with me home. Is this Ok?

My 34 year old son is in debt and lives under my roof in a room I provide. I help him financially by gifting him funds from time to time. I do not claim him as a dependent and his finances are segregated from mine. I did not cosign any loan. He has been served and I expect that the court will issue a judgment. My question is, do I have to do anything special to protect my and my wife's goods from execution. Legally, they are ours, but how do I proceed if the sheriff attempts to grab them? Can he?
