My son passed away June 17, 2016, he was 32 years old. He had never married and had no children. His only asset is a checking account at our local credit union. He had no co owner on the account and did not set up a beneficary. We believe there is under $2000 in the account and would like to close it out and just donate the funds. Since he had no Will and we do not have the money to open probate, is there any other option for us?

I have a son that is almost 2. His father and I have been together for 4 years. Because of work we moved to CA 10 months ago. There is domestic violence in the relationship. I need to get my son away from his father into a safer environment. I am planning to move back to AZ. Does anyone know if I am able to file for full custody in AZ. My son was born in Gilbert and lived in Chandler from birth until we moved. (1 year) I am trying to figure out the best way to get back to AZ and obtain full custody while not endangering my son or myself from his fathers anger. Any advice is appreciated.

I work for a private Fiducairy Company in AZ. I have a client who is in a year lease at an apartment complex. He ended up in the hospital three weeks ago and his physicians are stating he cannot return home and must be placed in nursing care facility. The Apartment complex is stating he must pay next months rent and a $700.00 fee to break the lease. Are there any provisions or statutes in the Landlord Tenant Act that would help my client. He is on a fixed income and lives on his monthly VA benefits and Social Security. He does not have extra resources to pay for rent at the apartment and pay for a nursing facility too.

I have a collection on my credit report which belongs to my husband. When contacting the collection agency, they told me that this collection will stay on my report because I am married to the person which ows them money. The account was included in our bankruptcy in 2013 as an individual debt and not a joint debt. Am I responsible for my husbands debt? It was for electrical service my husband applied for himself. Thank you

I live in a condo and I rent from a management company. I was given a visitors pass for when I would have guests over. Recently there has been parking violations on my fiance's car and said it will be towed. I have nothing in my rental lease that states that I can not let guests park at my place of residence. would this warrant me to break my lease and not lose my deposit? I can not have any guests? or the car will be towed?
