  • how do I apply for assistance with bankruptcy?
  • I had an unwritten deal with someone and he basically conned me out of $800. I sued him in Pima County small claims court. The court required that i name his spouse as a defendant as well. When the court date came, he had fled town and left his wife to deny everything in court for him. It turns out though he is not legally married to this woman, and that was made clear to the judge. Still, the judge dismissed my case with prejudice even though she was not his legal spouse and now i am out $800+. I even had a witness but he was late so unfortunately didn't get sworn in. What recourse do i have?
  • How can we separate finances during our sepatation? I want to buy a house of my own with out obligating him or puting myself at risk of it being considered community property. He has moved out and our home is up for sale.

I keep getting the "we need to order fixtures" as the reason that it is taking so long to repair this item. What course of action can I take to either fix the lights or be released from my lease?
  • My roommate flaked out on me and I need to pay a termination fee for the apartment. We are both signed on the lease but I need to know if my roommate is also responsible to split the termination fee and if so, what if my roommate refuses? Will she be responsible for paying her part? The termination fee is four months of rent and I am able to pay two (half) of the overall fee. My landlords said if she won't pay her part, it will be sent to collections and they will also require me to pay the remaining balance if she doesn't.
  • I recently moved into a condo and i signed a lease and she accepted payment and I moved in. Then a few days later she came to me and told me I need to get out because she had found out about an old landlord who gave me a bad review. I didnt lie on my application i gave her two years back even thou she asked for five. she didnt say anything about it and approved my application. Does she have any right to evict me?

After being released the property manager is saying that I was never released now they are sticking me with an $1100 bill. I only have contact with 1the former roommate but he vouches that he signed me off the lease. What can I do to avoid this bill?
