I am currently active duty 19 years. Divorced 2 years ago. Spouse is eligible for a share of my retirement. However the decree states I must begin to pay her share of my retirement beginning the month I am eligible to retire. It was based of a % share. No lawyer or my military office can give me how much that share is in dollars they tell me they will know when I retire. How can I pay her monthly when no one knows the amount until I retire? Is it even Legal that I have to pay her retirement if I haven’t retired? Did I not get good representation?

My apartment , for the 5th time this year, as left a piece of paper outside my door with an open-ended notice of water being shut off for repairs. After about 5 hours, I've called for an update and they just say they don't know when it will be done. Is it within their rights to leave open-ended notices, not even in person, of utilities being cut? Do i have any rights in this matter as a paying tenant with a 5 month old who works from home?

I currently have sole custody of my child since his father was not around for the pregnancy or birth and is not even listed on the birth certificate. We were never married. He filed for custody and we have trial in November. If I get activated in the military indefinitely and have to move before our court date what happens? I have been the primary caregiver to our son since birth.

Today I got my food stamp EBT card in the mail and called to activate it. Well, I gave them my social security number and made up my pin number like they asked me to and then it comes to the part where they tell me what my balance is. Well it said I have no current balance at this moment. I was just wondering why I don't have a balance when everyone I know that has or has had food stamps before is telling me that there should be money on there when I activate it?
