  • My teenage daughter and I were both arrest for domestic violence and both of us were prosecuted. Same case yet we were both identified as defendants which very effectively eliminated any accountability especially by the courts to address "Victim's Rights" at all. The words "dominate aggressor" does not exist , at least not in the statues in AZ. So my question is: How do the courts justify this? Is this ethical? Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase
  • I just got myself an appartment l for the first time in about 6 years and my 21 year old son who has a lot of problems in his life,well he became homeless AGAIN the day before [ got the keys to my new place.   • We have tenants that are not late on their rent(due April 1st). A swat team broke down the courtyard door and arrested both of the tenants 5 days ago for larceny. The charge has something to do with guns. The tenants are being extradited to CO in 8 days. Their 27 year old son is living in the house and is asking all the neighbors to lend him money to get his parents out. Our neighbors do not feel safe and are traumatized by what has happened. The tenants are on a "most wanted" list in CO. Can I evict them immediately because of criminal activity?

  • My ex and I divorced with one child. He owns his own business and put down his estimated income on the child support form. It was signed and finalized as a part of the divorce and he paid child support and 70% of medical bills. We are updating our incomes and he is stating he made less than expected and that, because he was incorrect with his income, I owe him thousands of dollars for the over-payment. Is this accurate? It was he who stated and signed that income amount and because he was wrong, he is stating I owe him for my daughter's medical expenses and child support he paid.
