During my current 6 months of employment, I was hired as a 1099 employee and then transitioned to a W2 employee (paid salary + commission)and then forced back to a 1099 employee by my employer. Despite earning commissions from the first month of employment, I have yet to be paid any commissions. They initially told me I they would pay them and then they ignored by requests for payment. Can an employer withhold and deny paying earned commissions and if so, how long. Are they subject to any penalties or fines for will fully with holding earned commission? What can I do?

My son is enrolled and attending Kindergarten near my home. Fathers now wants to change his school for first grade for 2017-2018. I feel our son will be established in this school with classmates etc he knows. I dont think it would be in the best interest to change schools to a half way point like fathers wants. And my daughter will be attending preschool at the school as well next year and their daycare is also down the street from school and they pick up and drop off children. My son has been at this daycare since he was 2 years old and these children attend his kindergarten class as well. Please let me know what i can do?

My lease expires in one month and I just recently received a renewal notice 1 week ago and they raised my rent by 70 dollars and I told them I can not afford the much higher rent. I asked if they would negotiate a lower monthly rate or I would have to give a 30 days notice. I was told I would have to give a 60 days notice even though they only gave me a new 30 day renewal notice w/price is this correct?? Also the whole 9 years ans three management companies later I still have tile that has cracked across my whole front door, punch marks on my doors and metal stains in my bathroom sink
