QUESTIONS

  • If a person is on 2 years unsupervised probation for two Class 6 undesignated felonies in AZ, is he able to move out of state and transfer his probation if his life is being threatened. Is it possible to complete his probation in another state.
  • I received a an eviction notice last week giving me days to vacate. I had my boyfriend and dog move in and tried to have him added to the lease. He was denied. They also claim noise, but is is a second level apartment was laminate wood floors. They told me to put rugs down and walk on the balls of my feet. My boyfriend and his dog left. Im packing and they are saying I owe $5,400 at time of moving out. Im current on rent. they asked me to leave. Lease expires 01/30/2016. How can they charge me when Im current and they asked me to leave?
  • My landlord gave me a noise complaint and unauthorized tenant notice on April 11, 2018 . I asked landlord, who is the unauthorized occupant. She said your son. I assured her that , my son do not live here, buy he is my babysitter while I'm at work. Then on May 4, I went into pay rent , The landlord received my rent. I asked her how is the noise, she stated it have not gotten any better and you totally disregard the 10 day for having an unauthorized occupant. I told her I told you my son do not live here. The landlord said he is always here and I told her , yes, because I'm always at work.
  • I know blacklisting is illegal but is very difficult to prove unless there is a written paper trail. I believe in my case there is no paper trail it is all word of mouth. Is there anything I can do?

I can’t file for hardship due to unemployment because my parents are guarantors. I understand I might have to finish paying my rent (leasing agreement) but is there anything I can do since I have not been there in over 4 months? I had to move back home (Flagstaff to Mesa)

  • Can a company refuse payment with cash? A new policy became effective stating they will only accept money orders, and credit/debit. i was advise if i take cash they will tell me to get a money order.
