  • I recently renewed my lease. When doing that I made it aware to my apartment manager that my ceiling was leaking!I was told that the AC unit ( which is a P-tech unit like used in hotels) from the apartment above me was leaking. So they told the tenants to place a bucket under the unit to catch the water!!! Well my ceiling still leaks from time to time and the sheet rock has started to fall, and the window casing near the leak had also beginto fall!! Im 3 months into my new lease and they still refuse to make repairs!!!! Can I break my lease without penalty because of neglected repairs?

There's no fixed flat rate stated only saids 50& based on occupants and 50% on unit size. Should my utility bill be the same each month then??   • I request that the light outside my apartment be repaired on January 11, 2019, then again on March 11, 2019, and again today March 15, 2019. According to my lease all light fixtures inside my apartment and in common areas will be repaired by the leasing agency. Currently, there are no lights at near the stairwell, my apartment is at the top of, to provide safe lighting. I keep getting the "we need to order fixtures" as the reason that it is taking so long to repair this item. What course of action can I take to either fix the lights or be released from my lease?

  • I am recently divorced, and I got the house. He has personal stuff still here and I cannot get him to get it out of here. There is a lot of stuff and most too heavy for me to move. I've asked him several times to move it, even sent him letters that he had to sign for. Now he won't even answer his phone so I can pin him down on a date when he can have it done. It's his way of still trying to control my life and all I want is out and away from him. What options do I have to enforce this? It's been three months since the divorce and there was nothing on the decree that states a time limit .

My lease is about to expire (at the end of June) and my landlord gave me very short notice that they are not renewing my lease and want me out.
