My exhusband and his girlfriend purchased a home together. I have been refused their new address and I feel that I have the right to know where they live, in case of an emergency. What are the legal ramifications of the primary custodial parent not knowing where the children live every other weekend? Do I have that right to know?

We are renting our townhouse in another city in Arizona. We signed a 1 year lease with our tenant. The lease currently came up for renewal. Our tenant wanted to go month to month. We were not willing to do so, but said we were willing to shorten the new lease to 6 months. The tenant said (on the phone) that that would work for her. We drafted a renewal page, mailed it to her to sign. we included a prepaid, self addressed envelope. If when signing the plea the judge states "I will allow the felony to be set aside." After completing probation I was denied. The felony is Agg. Assault and I know that violent crimes are not eligible to be set aside. But I feel there should be accountability. What are the options?

My 85 year old mother passed away suddenly on May 25. 2013. She had a lease and a security deposit of $200.00. The apartment complex has suddenly (after 3 months of attempting to get it returned after perfect walk through results) decided that I am not able to get any security deposit. Also, refuse to return my extra monies paid to stay for 14 days to remove my mother's items. I was assured that all of the money would be returned to me but now that they have a new owner, they state that they will not return any of the money that they agreed to return to me. AZ law states that they were to notify me within 14 days if any problems with refund with her security deposit or they have to pay double the amount back. Is this applicable in this case? I have continuously attempted to contact them regarding this issue and I finally got a bunch of passing the blame answers and this is three months late.

However, in the AZ Landlord and Tenant Act it states that Security deposits may be used towards the payment of all rent. Which is correct?
