QUESTIONS

  • My ex is doing this to our son. Where can I get help? The judge doesn't see my side of this and there was significant domestic violence in our marriage. The judge has granted my ex custody and he is a dangerous alcoholic. My daughter, his step daughter is so afraid for her little brother because she knows 1st hand what her step-father is capable of yet the judge won't let her in the court room. My ex is extremely good at conning and manipulating the system and has the judge fooled. I don't know what to do and now I can't even see our son. What can I do?
  • How do I serve my child's Father court papers if he is missing?
  • If someone is on an Interstate Compact from Oregon to AZ and on parole, and they get put in jail; don't they still have the right to know why they've been put in jail? Especially after 3 weeks, with no appearance before a judge given, and Oregon says they still haven’t heard anything from Arizona and they usually don’t on these minor violations. I was told by a PO that my Son was being locked up for a parole violation of two diluted UA’s in a row. My son had to hear from me why he was locked up. They never told him his UA’s were coming out diluted or why he was being locked up.
  • I called the landlord re: the AC had went out and had provided him with my sons contact number. The landlord then called me at the time of my work on my personal cell and started to yell at me due to no contact with my son. At that time my son was on the phone with the AC tech. And now the landlord wants me to pay $100.00 towards the repair, but this has happened 3 times now and never had asked me to pay towards the repairs.
  • Are purchase money mortgages limited to no recourse notes?
  • My husband and I are being sued by a creditor for a disputed unpaid debt of $10,000 on his credit card. We have a prenuptial agreement and have kept our assets (house, bank accounts etc.) separate throughout our marriage of ten years. He is unemployed and has few assets, I have some savings. Will I be forced to repay his debt?
  • Hello, I am filling out an annual report of guardian for my minor niece for the first time. Is there an official form that our doctor must fill out as the doctor's report or is it simply a letter from our pediatrician reporting on my niece's current health? Thank you.
  • My ex-husband wants to give up right to our kids .(I think so he wont have to pay child support)And asked if my current husband would adopt them. My question is how long is this process and how much would it cost IF I ever decided to go along with it?
  • What do you do if the owner of a mobile home park gails to maintain the streets? There are no sidewalks to walk so your forced to walk on the street where there are pot holes and cracks eveywhere. No only does ut poes a risk and damage to your cars but the fear of falling in the streets cuss of all the potholes and cracks. Who do we need to notify about this?
  • I am the father of an 8 year old daughter born out of wedlock. No legal paternity has ever been established, but I've maintained a close relationship with my daughter all along as well as paid child support from day one. I would like to begin the process of obtaining legal joint (if possible) custody of my daughter ahead of fears my ex may try to relocate again (already moved from to CO to AZ). I believe I will need to establish legal paternity which is no problem as I am on the birth certificate and my ex will agree, as well as establishing permenant visitation rights and also the ability to bar her from moving again. Is there a step by step process available online to set this into motion? I am unable to afford an attorney, but might be able to afford a paralegal? Please advise.
