  • I am in the process of a divorce and will be moving back to my home state. As part of the divorce, our house will have to be sold. Do I have to continue living in AZ once the divorce if finalized or can I move back to my home state?
  • I am looking for a place to live in Flagstaff. I put an ad on Facebook and was contacted by a woman with a room for rent. I told her I was a freshman in college. I then set an appointment with her to veiw the house. I saw the room and told her I would take it. She contacted me several days later and told me that her other tenants where uncomfortable with me being 18 and refused to rent to me. She knew I was under 21 before I saw the room. Is it legal to deny me tenancy based on age?

  • I am a landlord and have a question about my legal rights to be notified by the power company (SSVEC) before they shut off service because the Tennant did not pay their electric bill. The signed rental contract gives permission to the power company to notify me of a pending shut off. They have this agreement on file. It gets below freezing here and this puts our units at risk of having frozen or bursting water lines. Also the smoke detectors are disabled. I never want the utilities turned off on the apartments because of this. They just shut off the power for 10 days before I'm aware.
  • i would like to know if these siuations would be considered a form of child abuse. I consider them, but not sure if my view is correct. First to lock a child in there bedroom from 7 pm to 7 am note child is 4 yrs old. and has child is potty trained but must pee in room or in there pants to relieve themselves. I find this terribly wrong. next recently a crack pipe was found in bedroom of child the child has been known to freely walk to neibors where she possibly found pipe, i feel child should not be left alone long enough to walk to neibors house search around and return parent not aware ther
